He rode a mountain bike, was an avid horseman, skied, played a great game of pool, and rode a motorcycle. His daughters Rachael Mary 15 and Katie Morgan, 13, were the center of all his activities. He would take them skiing in the winter and race them down the mountain. He would watch the games with his daughters whenever possible. In addition to her mother, her survivors include her nephew, Jay Kesslen, her niece, Susan Perdomo, grandniece, Gabriella Perdomo, aunt Geraldine Lisker, uncle, David Gordon, and sister-in-law, Linda Murray, as well as several cousins. After her marriage, Raye was a stay at home mother who enjoyed doing various volunteer works. She was a member of ST. John The Baptist Church where she taught CCD for a number of years. For 24 years, Mrs. Vacirca worked during the elections, first as a clerk and later as a warden. Mr. Clark was educated in the Exeter Grammar Schools and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Kurzweil Computer Products formerly in Cambridge, MA until his retirement. He was also the church sexton at the Riverside Memorial Church in Haverhill for the past 9 years.
During those years, he enjoyed his yacht “Lyons Den” which he sailed actively throughout the waters of New England. His love for boating was only surpassed by his love for his wife of 33 years Carol. Mr. Joseph Edward Lyons, 64, of Haverhill died Wednesday at Mass General Hospital in Boston.

In 1950, Anthony moved to Haverhill and was chef at Mr. Mike’s as well as his own restaurant on Merrimack St. He later was also employed in the local shoe factories. Mr. Torossian owned and operated the former Toro’s Pizza, Methuen. Although we are sad to see him go, the Latham children celebrate the wonderful life and gifts of our father William Nichols “Nick” Latham. Nick passed away at home December 15, surrounded by family following a long courageous struggle with Parkinson’s disease. We will remember him as a man of both impressive physical strength and great inner strength. Throughout his 18-year illness, Dad refused to give up his independence.

Anna was born in Haverhill, the youngest daughter of Bartholomew and Ellen Galvin, Sister Toman Galvin, CSJ and Margaret Gillespie, and on brother Thomas Galvin. She was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1935. Anna was married to the late Walter J. Nyhan and the mother of Bartholomew, James, John and Marianne Ravenna. The family of Anna Nyhan announce the passing of their dear and beloved mother at the Elizabeth Seton Nursing Home on September 20. Mr. Stanislaw Soborski of Newton, MA and formerly of Haverhill and Methuen, died peacefully on Sept. 22 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law where he had lived the past five years. After the war John Pursued his immense love of the written word honing his skills in numerous fields.

Campfield of Exeter, NH, and her much loved cousin Jean Freitag of Gaithersburg, MD.
